What is the Walkability Score?

The Walkability Score measures how pedestrian-friendly an area is based on the presence and quality of walking infrastructure, road safety features, street lighting, and road surface quality. Scored on a 0–100 scale (higher = more walkable).

                        Walkability = Ped. Infra × 0.30 + Road Safety × 0.25 + Lighting × 0.20 + Road Quality × 0.25
                    

Each sub-score is individually normalised to 0–100 using capped counts, then the weighted sum produces the final score. This is a special experimental parameter not included in the composite livability score.
